The nine edition of “Mode no Rashinban” (Mode Compass), which I have been writing for Kyodo News, was published November 2022.
The theme is “long gloves” add class and femininity. The trend of classic and elegant outfits has emerged, partly due to the swing back from the genderless trend. We propose the multi-use of long gloves, which have a high ladylike feel, for a different kind of relaxed and cute attire. The use of arm warmers is also on display.
